The fest went great! Our screening was sold out, and the Q and A was slightly less awkward than usual.
We met tons of neat-o filmmakes. Here are my new favorite people:

-The folks from Zero Trooper - F (these guys were rad! I can't wait to see your next project!)

-Sara and Naomi from Twisted; a Ballonametary,

-The dudes and MC Router from Nerdcore for Life

We also saw this great short called "A Very Sunny Morning" by Eric Carter. I totes love it.

The fest is in Madison, WI from April 4-6 2008. More info coming soon on the actual screening date and time.

The campus screening of Margot and Henry went very well! The movie got lots of laughs and a big applause.

We'll be taking the film back into the editing room to fix a few technical issues, and then I PROMISE we'll start making DVDs for anyone who wants one. So expect DVDs by the end of June.

Thanks to everyone who came to the show on Monday, and all the other filmmakers who screened (great work friends!)

Northwestern University, Evanston Campus
1999 Campus Drive

Don't worry if you can't make it exactly at 7, because we won't be the first film shown.

Tickets are free so you can invite your friends and family, but if you are bringing many guests try to arrive early to get good seats. There is parking on campus nearby, attire will be casual and there will be a reception afterwards.

"Margot and Henry Have an Adventure" is a short film directed by Rachel Wolther and produced by Jason Klorfein. It stars Laura Skokan and Michael Larimer. The film was shot on 16mm over six days in Febuary 2007, in and around Evanston Illinois, and was completed as part of classwork at Northwestern University.

The film is an offbeat comedy about two idiot friends. Henry wants to get laser eye surgery so Margot sells her eggs.
